It’s time to retire my old worn out tri top. Don’t think that I want a one piece suit unless they a lot more aero. Any suggestion? (5’9" 165lbs)
Anything that fits firmly will be the most aero. We all have different torso length, shoulder width, etc. Every company sizes differently. It’s best to go to your LBS and try on as much as you can until you find the perfect one.
Tyr Carbon?? They’re super tough to get on… But the material is pretty awesome and comfortable

What’s more aero, bib and jersey or a skinsuit?

I tested the newer sugui “RS” semi custom kit vs an older circa 2010 Castelli body paint skin suit (Cervelo team issue full sleeve) and it worked out to 18 seconds per 40km at 25MPH or about 18 seconds per hour.
Not as bad as I thought, keeping in mind YMMV.

Which was faster?
Sorry the older version of the body paint was faster. Not sure of the time dif between the new vs old body paint.
Depends on fit of course but if you are a club you can get the sugoi RS semi custom for about 65$ Canadian per piece (with logos) with a 12 piece minimum. Reasonable price, good reviews for fit etc, its the same stuff that they sell at the retail booth at WTC.
