More shots from C brand new Cervélo P5

Guys, check this out: http://www.mundotri.com.br/...o-p5-via-kona-bikes/
.

I think there’s already a thread for that…

I am disappointed. I thought so much more of Cervelo.

Hydraulic brakes… woopie.

Yes, but you need to add that the hydraulic brakes, the first in the tt class (I might be mistaken here), are added into the mix of an even more aero fork, top tube bosses, zero exposed cables/wires, a lack of the BB water-bottle thing…all of this atop one of the most aero frames out there.

What would it take to impress you? A motor, right?

Trek did all of those minus the brakes. So no Cervelo didn’t impress me, but hey maybe there is more to be seen after the official release.

I’m just saying I thought more of Cervelo than I did of Trek or Specialized. Now they are just another one in the lead pack, not the leader of the pack.

And the fork

I hear what you’re saying. Maybe there’s something nobody’s picked up on yet. We’ll see.

which were both ideas that Cervelo patented. The application is very different, the Trek uses Kamm tail, doesn’t have the downtube flush with the front wheel, totally different rear concepts, fork design is totally different, etc

I agree, there’s a S-Works Shiv tri sitting about 10 ft from me and looking at the P5, I’m pretty damn impressed…
