I have one of Ted, Clark and Grogan - need one of Roof…ideas?
The infamous “Slowtwitch.com” offer still stands. Any member of Slowtwitch with more that 1000 posts, and who lives more than 1000 miles away from the start line at Rock Cut State Park will get a free entry into RockMan. This does not include travel, costs or USAT fee’s. I would imagine that this would bring Ted McGregor, Kevin Grogan (Team Timex) and a few others out to play…then there is the Rodney Roof -vs - Eric Clark “Rumble in the Park” that is now confirmed. There will be some VERY fast 35-39 folks out to play. I of course reserve the right to decline entry to any person for any reason
Do I still get free entry for naming the race? I’m too chubby, slow, insert swimfan comment here, to do it, so I’d probably won’t be able to do it in 2007 but definitely 2008.
If you can’t hook it up for 2008, no worries. How about a shirt? Or, donate the fee to CAF.
“If you are browsing through this website, you’re obviously not turned off by my own critical flaw. Yes, I’m incarcerated. Besides that there is nothing wrong with me, am I perfect? NO! Am I a good person? Well I guess that depends on who you ask. But I am driven to be perfect, and I want to be a very good man.”

My wildest dream is to some how play a part in bringing race relations in this country to a stronger and better place. Especially when it comes to how our judicial system discriminates against people of color.
Just my 2 cents…but putting those personal-type stories/photos on your website makes your race seem cheap and a “good ole boys” club. Of course…everybody seems nice and friendly, but if I weren’t a ST-native, I’d question the professionalism of such information.
Then again…perhaps that is the image that you’re going for.
