What’s your definition of mass shooting? There is no broadly accepted one, but generally it’s where there are multiple victims. By that criteria, as of July 31, there have been 248 mass shootings in 2019.

I threw out the 250+ figure based on something I quickly found, and without looking into the criteria used to arrive at that number, because even without that validation it was as sound as the claim that Trump has had 4 shootings in 3 years. That kind of claim requires either a fundamental inability to count, or a special kind of cognitive dissonance.
And here I’d thought that “TDS” refers to those who don’t support Trump.
I heard the 250 number on NPR, but they clarified the criteria as being "victims", and not necessarily deaths. So any situation where more than 2 or possibly 3 are shot qualifies, I don't remember if the base number was mentioned in this NPR piece, but we've talked about it here before.

I found both numbers in an article I read while reading about the shootings. The article included a table at the bottom listing all of the mass shootings for every president all of the way back to Reagan. I seem to remember it was from a left leaning media source. Been trying to find it again and I’ll post it here when I do.

Ever thought if declarations that the world is going to end in 12 years just might have some sort of influence over an idiot like that? When do we start blaming Bernie, Warren, and AOC? Especially since he pointedly remarked that he held his positions about immigration BEFORE Trump was elected.

The truth is bad enough, why exaggerate? You’re either ignorant or dishonest, and I don’t want to talk to either one. I’m all for trying to solve whatever it is that makes these mass shootings happen, I don’t want crazy people to have large clip rapid fire weapons, and I’m for the environment, but all of the above phrases are non-starters for me.
