To the poster below who wanted to level the playing field: Unless USAT issues some rules on the subject, and starts testing pros for drugs, the playing field will be dictated solely by economics. USAT is simply the lucky entity that starting insuring tri events first. Other than that, they suck up your $$ and do nothing but bureaucratize the sport.
Train hard and take some solace in the fact that there is a pure joy in passing some douchebag attorney/doctor/ex-real estate mogul/rich asshole with the brand new P4, Zipp disc, aero dickhead helmet, etc. They are only as good as their equipment and sometimes that is not enough.
