I finally got an email back from my nephew in Iraq. He’s a grunt marine lieutanant there. (IT took him a while. I guess he’s busy.) He said he and his group received a shipment from Michael at InfiniT a couple of months back. He said at first his guys complained about the taste but it ‘skyrocketed in popularity when the guys realized how replenished they became after drinking it.’
I met Michael at IMAZ where I noted that he had some military packets for special ops. I asked if I could order some to send to my nephew in Iraq. Michael said he’d be glad to send them gratis. WOW! He was as good as his word. That’s above and beyond the call.
I’m sorry it took me so long to confirm that it had been received.
Sign me up for the Infinit IPO. Once Folan wins a mult million dollar DoD RFP to service the entire Armed Forces, the valuation of Infinit should skyrocket.
Reminds me of when I was in Vietnam ('71). We were talking and conversation turned to when did Kellogg’s first come out with Corn Flakes. We had some really stimulating talks while sitting in our bunkers. So I wrote the company and they replied by sending me a whole case of their cereals. One of the few nice gestures I received while in Nam.
I don’t know if Camelback is public yet or not, but their sales got a huge boost when they started supplying the military. They have an entire product line devoted to milspec stuff.
It comes in a military Khaki green with pictorial directions for mixing in a canteen or a camelbak (apparently these are getting big with soldiers). Sounds like just the thing for your rides???
