Since she traveled to Nigeria she needs to be kept out of school, given that Nigeria hasn’t had but a few more cases than the U.S. shouldn’t all kids in the U.S. be kept out of school for fear of spreading Ebola? Heck they’ve been in a country where there are Ebola cases.
Pretty soon, Americans will have to be quarantined by other countries whenever they travel, because we’ve got the Ebola here in the US.
Better plan on adding 21 days to the front of any foreign trips you want to take.
I wonder if she met that prince who keeps asking for money.
+1
.
Another good reason why we should do little to stop ebola in these countries. Then maybe the Nigerian scam will become a thing of the past.

God, I hope that was sarcasm, and I hope you know that Nigeria has basically nothing to do with that scam.
Yes, it was, but only a little.
Didn’t you see “to catch a con man” with that guy who used to bust the pedophiles? Yes, it is systemic in that country, with shops setup specifically to run this, politicians, customs and law enforcement bought off. They even fund their infrastructure with this. They even posted youtube videos bragging how stupid people are for falling for their scams. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kJOuvEcarNs
So yes, Nigeria has a lot to do with them. And no, I wouldn’t have a problem if every one of those responsible for these died a painful ebola death. So if ebola wipes out all of Nigeria, I would mean less of these and that wouldn’t be a bad thing.
I’m just a glass half full guy who always tries to see the optimism in a tragedy.

These scams have been around for centuries, and only a small percentage of them in recent times involve Nigeria in any way. Even the ones that specifically mention Nigerian princes aren’t necessarily conducted from Nigeria.
Good luck with that though.
I’ll give you that but a lot do. And their society benefits from it. That ties then to it.
Gypsies are another such group. It is pervasive enough in their culture to rightfully associate it With them. If a virus were wiping them out I wouldn’t care either.
It isn’t like in advocating their slaughter. Just us not doing anything to prevent their deaths

Same with Jews. And Mormons. And democrats.

I think Jews and Mormons have done well for themselves not at the expense of others. Gypsies though. I used to think they were an urban legend or generic term for con man. When I worked construction we heard about gypsy contractors who would come in and start a project, leave for whatever reason and not come back. When I met my wife, her family told me how they would terrorize the Ukraine countryside. She even walked in on one in her grandmothers home while a ringer was distracting her grandma at the door.
Then when I was an auditor with Marriott, we received Loss Prevention training and spent a whole hour on Gypsies. They were a problem, especially in Florida. Orlando attracted them because of all the midways located at various attractions (yes like a stereotype). They also sought housekeeping position or snuck onto resort properties to steal. We found the hires that turned out to be gypsies had false id. They are superstitious to. Reclaimed water scared the hell out of them, so we would post signs all over the property noting reclaimed water in use, even if it wasn’t. This is true.
If gypsies couldn’t steal, they would probably fade away. So no, I don’t really feel empathy for them either.
Here is an article on them.

I even fell victim for this, but it was because my friend locked us out of the house and he had to get his car keys, so he told me to go with the guy after he said it was 300.
