i’ll be there doing the 1/2. this year i’m going to try and not get a dq like me and half the field did 2 years ago!
How did that happen?
we all cut the run course - unintentionally of course. it was the first year they changed the run course and it was very poorly marked. i remember stopping and shrugging my shoulders at one point and choosing a (wrong) direction - many behind me followed. to the race directors credit, they gave us all free entry into the following years race because with that many people going off course, it’s not just the athletes who have to take some responsibility. anyway, this year is revenge!
