Now you have done it! True story from St. Louis years ago

I am driving to a meeting from the airport soon after a woman had been tossed and killed from a near by amusement park ride. Seems she was rather large and the restraining system wasn’t able to latch properly. Dj comes on and says: “Well folks you know the rides over when the fat lady flings”. Almost had an accident I was laughing so hard.

But to the point, I spend way too much on my many activities, to include multi sports. I have just never had the nerve to keep track. I could be retired by now and training full time :frowning: or hanging out at the mall sipping my free senior coffeee while watching all of the fat mall rats

I concur. Try high altitude mountaineering or adventure racing. You piss money in those sports.

Ultimately though, if I had the million dollars + I’ve spent on the sport and adventure over the past two decades I would not be better off. It has been much more than worth every penny. For better or worse, it made me the person I am.
