'lo all,

if anyone is interested in a pair of modified carbonX bars (pads, directly on the base bars) and straight extension (carbon mountain bike bars, drilled to accomodate the bar end shifters), check the classified.

I called Tom’s store to order the same bars he is sending to you. The guy I spoke to said they did not do “mail order”. What is going on?

We currently do not have the capability/capacity to fulfill orders other than in our store.

I occasionally make exceptions, based solely on my discretion and availability of time.

Francois,

How do I find the classifieds?

bottom right of this page, there is a little scroll window where the classifieds are.

Do you have the shim to make them fit a 1" steerer?

are you guys referring to the visiontech bars that tom’s raved about in prior posts? if so, what model are you talking about? i surfed visiontech’s site but there doesn’t appear to be any new bars available, unless i’m missing something.

thanks…

they rotate slightly if you want to rotate them, but if you use the pads the way they are supposed to be used (with your arms on them) they don’t rotate.
Just put a washer on the base bar between the pads and bars so you can tighten it hard enough.

let me know what you have broken, I will tell you what I have broken…if we combine the lot we may have a whole bike

Those look awesome, my buddy gets back from National Guard today, I will get him the photos…I bet 99% chance he will want them.

for info the extensions are made with a mountain bike bar, Easton, I think EC70, but I have to check.
quite thick carbon with the middle section (where the stem usually attaches) used to go in the base bar.
very solid.
You still have about 1in if you want them a bit longer.
