Just had similar experience to Record10… Adidas apparently screws up this way relatively frequently.
I’ve been wearing adidas super nova classics size 10 for a few years.
Went to the run store a few weeks back, got my box of size 10’s. Peeked at the shoe tongue to verify size. As usual, never put them on. Few days later took them with me to my ortho office, unworn, where my first ever pair of custom orthotics awaited for final trimming and fitting - trimmed and fit to these shoes.
I could barely squeeze my foot into 'em, with or without the orthotics. Thought it was my untrimmed toe nails. 3 mins standing in the shoes was enough to turn a toe nail black.
Nasty illness intervenes, no thought of training or dealing with the shoes for a few weeks.
Nail trimming didn’t help, and they sure looked a good half inch smaller than my old pairs of size 10’s.
So, take the 45min drive back to the store and the owner gives me a real pair of size 10’s and says this has happened once or twice before to his knowledge. Not sure if they were mislabeled smaller mens or a ladies 10 marked as a mens. Mens colors.
Get home and realize now I’ve got the correct shoe but my ~$300 orthotics (Footlevelers) are not the right size.
Anyone have an adidas contact, or tips?
I am about to start shaking that tree.
