I just visited a store Linear Speed that has closed its doors and is selling all of its remaining inventory.
I picked up a LG Rocket helmet for $90. Essentially, they are selling everthing at their cost or below.
Since I live nearby I went to their warehouse. You can call Tim, the salesman at 414-510-4022 or check out their website at www.linearspeed.com. I haven’t looked at their website or their prices there but I got everything at cost.
They mainly carry Louis Garnea including LG bike frames.
Sort of a bummer to hear that the business never took off.
If they are going out of business I guess I shouldn’t enter their website drawing. Do you have an interest in this operation? Is there sale for in-store only?
No interest in the store at all. I’m just a triathlete here in Milwaukee.
What prompted the whole thing was last week a friend of mine showed up at our Wednesday night run sporting some neat LG running tights and I asked her where she got them. She let me know about this store that is selling off their inventory because it didn’t make it. Obviously things didn’t pan out for the store because I never even heard of them. I know just about every tri-related store in the area and this one wasn’t even on the radar screen. Apparently, they attempted a store front presence which lasted a few months and after that failed, they tried to focus on internet exclusively. In the end the ship sank after about a year.
Just shows you that they didn’t know what they where doing…never even tried co-oping/partnering/sponsoring with TriWisconsin, the largest tri group here in Milwaukee, or any biking group.
