Miltonman triathlon, anyone do it?

My g/f and i raced at the miltonman triathlon at lake milton yesterday. the race was not badly run, but for some reason they found it was not needed to put directions to the race site up, but rather just to the park office (which was closed on a sunday morning). myself, along with about 15 - 20 other cars spent the better part of an hour driving around the lake until we finally found the race site. once we got there (20 min before the race started), someone at registration informed a group of us that it was our fualt we were late (ok, maybe i should have just called and asked how to get there), because we should have just followed the signs to the beach. there were three diff sets of beach signs, none of which took us there.

ok, enough venting.

the race went as well as could h ave been expected. was not well rested and had no taper leading into it. slow swim, came out in 8th i think, made it into 1st by the halfway of the bike, was then was run down by 3 poeple for 4th overall.
