What’s funny is that is the quote he came up with after he composed himself. Apparently the first thing out of his mouth (according to VeloNews) was:

That’s exactly what he said. The press conference was about a charity work the team is doing, and when a journalist ask a quesion and gave the information he commented with a very british accent. However later in an interview he said ’ I am a fan of Vino’ …
While on the surface it might seem ironic and hypocritical, I think he does make a good point. At some juncture things have to change. If Millar is truly clean, then I can understand his frustration. I think he is more displeased about the ramifications for the clean young riders in the peleton. I would imagine pretty much all of the older guard has doped at some point. As long as they are clean NOW, that is what really matters.
I also think cycling is very lucky in the states right now. This is not getting the media hype it could be getting due to Michael Vick being a friggin’ idiot and with the NBA in deep shit for gambling and fixing games. Sometimes being in the lymelight is good. Right now cycling is very lucky to be able to take a back seat to the NFL and NBA.
The reason Vino’s case is not getting a lot of hype in the US is because he is not American. Speaking of Americans, what is up with the Landis situation? Are we going to know the winner of this year’s tour before last year’s is decided? That is, assuming the winner does not test positive. That would be the icing on the cake!!!
