Milan-San Remo SPOILER

here is a better one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1mRFwULr-c0

wow! amazing!

That’s the same clip as deechee has linked. Amazing, Haussler makes the break at 3:15 and seems to have it wrapped up by more than 5 bike lengths in 5 or so seconds. 3:25 Cav appears in the bottom of the screen on a solo chase, 3:39 they are side by side! In the next second Cav throws his bike across the line and takes it by a wheel!

Awesome sprinting and great bike control, very much in Robbie’s style and with much more to come. I hope he doesn’t go down at the track champs in Poland next week.

sounds like a great finish and that in England you do not have to wait a week or 2 for VS to put the races on like we do in the states, anyone know if there is anyway to get live feeds on the web for the spring classics like IM Live for IM’s?

Bux there were a few links on the other Milan-San Remo thread, I would try there first. Otherwise I understand cyclingtv.com does a subscription service in the US but is of variable quality. I’m not sure if Eurosport can be gotten streamed online but I can’t see any technical reasons, but it would more than likely be subs again.

If you check this site http://www.cyclingfans.com/ before race start, most races are broadcasted online and these guys are “in the know”!

If you want to be impressed go back and watch the video again and look for the BIG diesel GEORGE HINCAPIE…text book leadout, a true team effort by Columbia.

Bravo to Big George and Cav!

Here is another one from last week of Hincapie doing what he does best in the final K’s…

Great day for Mark Cavendish and a great team effort on the part of Highroad. Hincapie set it up perfectly. Not a bad outing for Cervelo either - with 2nd and 3rd places. This Cervelo team is surprising more than a few people - I think that some had written them off as being a bit of a development team, but they have been in the mix on a number of occasions already this year. It will be interesting to see what they do in the bigger classics and stage races, although, in some respects you can’t get bigger than MSR. Onwards to Flanders!!

Awesome finish, although found it with French coverage still an awesome finish and glad I was able to see it. He is so dang quick… Good job Cav!

I thought HHs final few secs cost him the win. He should’ve stayed true to his line and made MC come around him. I felt the dive bomb right opened the door for him to get beat. He lost by such a small margin that had he made MC come around, I don’t think MC could’ve done it in time.
