Go for it man. I just took up the bagpipes about 4 months ago and it’s going pretty well and is really fun. I’m 40 and have NO musical background whatsoever. I was more nervous about trying this than my first IM. Def. go for lessons. A good instructor can teach you and catch mistakes before you ingrain them badly…kinda like swim technique!
