Michellie Jones Video Interview post-pro briefing at Chicago Tri:

Ok, yes I was nervous, but this was my 1 chance to interview one of the all-time greats (150 wins? hello) so I had to muster all my non-existant “for us regular tri geeks journalistic duty.” She comes off just like on the nbc covg - relaxed, easy going, confident (no pressure in chicago since she’s won it 7xs already). Not that you didn’t know already know this, but she is clearly still one of the favorites to be ironman champion again in kona come october.

There was something very disturbing in a recent article in Inside Triathlon featuring MJ… I think she has definately gone too far…

I could not see any Vegemite in her fridge!

to be honest, I do not know. But as I remember, it was her hip that got hurt 2 yrs ago, I wonder if it was a recurrence…

Nice work…although your “straight ahead” camera angle feels like a prison movie. How about a Welch-like side by side interview?

Good point, if I somehow get the chance to go to another big race this year I will go side by side…
