It’s pretty obvious that MM is one of the 1%, but I don’t think he’s a legit target of the 99% because MM’s creative work has been as an advocate of the plight of the middle class . . . the right wing don’t like him because he’s been consistently correct and he takes the right to task.

“Consistently correct” is laughable. While I don’t agree with the title “MM hates America” it certainly reveals the fraud that are his “documentaries”. Accuracy is not likely his MO though, amassing cash from the sheep is.
I may be wrong about a few of the OWSers - but I think it’s wrong to think they are opposed to massing large amounts of cash - it’s the corruption and purchasing of political influence, the tax breaks for the rich, the labor unfriendly trade agreement and regulatory and legal immunity that has got the OWS’ers ticked off.

I see in this article someone who has had a successful career and made a bunch of money. I have no idea what Michael Moore has said or done in relation to OWS, because the news sources I read don’t mention him, and I don’t follow him. I see no hypocrisy here. I’m pretty sure Moore is not part of Wall Street (you know, the WS part of WS that was the original protest?), and people like him are not a target of the protest. Just having a lot of money isn’t the point of their protest.

OK I see why you do not understand. Michael Moore rallied with OWS crowd against capitalism and the 1%ers. Piers Morgan had him on his CNN show and he adamantly denied being in the 1% when clearly he is.

But isn’t the Occupy WALL Street against the bankers and investment firms on WALL Street. What does that have to do with a private citizen who made his own money?
