I am in, but for the International distance, since I ran NYC marathon yesterday… I know, not very smart but I was looking forward to do this race

I believe Slowtwitch’s own Felipe Bastos won last year. I also think some girl from BYU had a sick run split, If I remember, it was the fastest of the day, male or female.

Did the couse yesterday (the 1/2 iron although I am only racing the international). Hope is not windy, it could get pretty anoying by the redlands. And just after Fruit and Spice park and for the next 5 miles, please close attention to DOGSSSSSSSSSS

how do you already know your bib number?? And these dogs…they were the kind that wagged their tails and watched as you rode by right?? By the time I get there tho. they will be so tired of chasing everyone else they will simply raise an eyebrow when I pass

I’m in for the short course, Its a great swim and a fun run through the zoo!

Hi beepie,

The packet pickup was on saturday and then I think again this thursday, everything is in the packet, even a marker so you can bodymark yourself beforehand. The dogs were the kind that for whatever reason their owners let them loose outside (this is all semi-farm land) so they chase you while on the bike.

Wouldn’t it be fun to see people going head to head, it doesn’t matter if you are BOPers, put on you boxing gloves and challange you training partner, spice it up, make a bet.

Come on, call out other people in the forum.
