MI Explosion! is Tom ok?

Don’t know where Romulus MI is, but it blowed up real good. You ok Tommy?

Romulus is right next to Detroit Metropolitan Airport, downriver of the city of Detroit. Tom’s shop and home is in Dearborn and a bit aways from that plant.

My Michigan home, on the other hand, is about 8 miles (as the crow flies…however a crow flies?) away, and my wife called me last night to tell me that she could see the glow from the fires, up in the sky last night.

Tony

That has to be scary. Glad you’re ok.

Ha ha. You said Detroit and 8 mile.

Dee-troit and 8 mile! That’s a riot! :-)) Chris, I live in our other place in Hawaii, right now (the airline business, so it’s not as stupid as it sounds), and my wife is back in Southgate (she’s an auditor for the federal government, in Livonia, MI). She called me all worried about possible fumes and such, but Romulus residents were the only ones evacuated from their homes, yesterday.

Tony

That could be classified information. I can neither confirm nor deny that.

I have to assume since he hasn’t responded denying it it must be true. Could be he’s already in custody…or just lying low.

Now I have to go forge some documents so I don’t get in trouble by Slowman for makeing false accusations without documentation.

Thought this stuff only happens when the Pistons win an NBA Championship? Lord help ya’ll if the Lions win the Super Bowl…

I wear a white hat.

Thought this stuff only happens when the Pistons win an NBA Championship? Lord help ya’ll if the Lions win the Super Bowl…

There were NO incidents of violence or unrest following the Pistons stunning NBA Championship victory in 2004. There were only minor incidents following their two championships in the 90s.

And there were no incidents following any of the Red Wings Stanley Cups.

Detroit had one unfortunate, sad night following the Tigers World Series victory back in 1984.

There have been major sports riots in Denver (Broncos and 'Lanche), Chicago (Bulls), Miami (Marlins), Los Angeles (Dodgers and Lakers), Montreal (Canadiens) and many other cities since then.

But people still only talk that way about Detroit.

Damn it! I knew it all along!

Sleuth detective work on my part I must say.
