Looking for feedback on the Merlin Aerial. I can get a good deal on one if the fit is right. Know it is a discontinued model therefore cannot find the geometry on their web site. Input appreciated.
Thanks,

I own one. Its a great bike. Wonderful ride. Lots of good reviews. Last of the QR/Merlin made before the sellout to the parent company of light speed etc. I have a collection of comments, quotes, & reviews as well as the spec sheet.from when I researched it before I purchased mine. One “drawback” is the forward sloping top tube that while it majes for a small & stiff front end can make a very low handelbar position that can require a stem with extreme rise to make it fit comfortably. I had to do that myself.
It 78 seat angle. I have the whole spec sheet for all the sizes. I always get stuff like that when I buy it so I know everything in the event I decide to make upgrades. Have a place to fax it to?

I’m still racing on a Merlin Ariel, made the last year before QR bought them. I think I got it in 1999. Great bike and I have no plans on changing it anytime soon, unless someone were to drop a newer ti frame in my lap.
Barb; Thanks for the reply. If you could I would appreciate the fax info. Please send me an email to: fal7@ix.netcom.com and I will respond with my fax number. Not real comfortable giving it out over the web.
Again Thanks,
