Medial Knee Pain

I’ve been developing pretty annoying pain on the inside of my right knee. This usually is apparent after a hilly ride. I know one of the common causes is cleats rotated externally (toes pointing somewhat out) but this is not the case for me. I also don’t push really big gears on my climbs. Yesterday my cadence was pegged at 90 during all my climb. I do notice some lateral knee movement at the top of my pedal stroke when climbing. I’m guessing this is the culprit. I’m looking for a solution. Anyone with any experience eliminating this? I was considering LeWedge but I haven’t seen anything on the site that addresses medial pain specifically.

Thnx.

LeWedge claims to eliminate this problem entirely. Are you a pronator? Medial knee pain with cycling is common if you are. Custom cycling orthotics is another but more expensive option than LeWedge.
