Measurment of muscular endurance in cycling

I think I saw this in Cycling mag. What is the duration/distance the chart below is making reference to?

               men women

Beginner 2.0-2.8 w/kg 1.5-2.3 w/kg

Regional 2.9-4.0 w/kg 2.4-3.4 w/kg

National 4.1-5.2 w/kg 3.5-4.4 w/kg

That doesn’t look right. I can’t get the columns and rows to stay put.
The “men” have the 2.0-2.8 w/kg and the “women” have the 1.5-2.3 w/kg and so on…

I don’t know what muscular endurance is (beyond a coined term) but that indicates power to weight ratio.

The above has to do with an average amount of watts over a certain amount of time. I am trying to find out what this time period (or distance) is. Thats all.

off-hand, i would say that represents watts per kilo at FTP, but that is just a guess. And there is no such thing as muscular endurance. Get ready for the storm.

It’s for 1 hour
