The shit is deeper than we all tried to believe…sad, very sad.
translation?
Something like this…
Brigitte McMahon was positively checked for doping on EPO by the functional commission for Dopingbekaempfung (FDB) of Swiss Olympic on 6 June 2005. The result of the A-sample resulted in the operational readiness level of EPO.
Swiss Olympic and the Swiss Triathlon federation accomplish today at 17.00 o’clock in presence of Brigitte McMahon a press conference in the hotel Swiss yard, station place 7 in Zurich.
Further information is given exclusively at the conference of medium.

Hey Sedi, did you translate that from French (you had lessons with François) or German (maybe with Herbert) ???
sedi is fluent in german…
Michellie’s career is one of the most dominant and complete of any athlete in any sport - even without the gold medal. In my mind, the gold can be added to her resume. flame away.
being half aussie I won’t flame you because I am biased…I thought the same thing initially, but nothing says she was on EPO back then, and nothing says the others weren’t…it’s the sad truth
.
Yup, I’m fluent…in google… LOL!!!
More seriously, I understand a bit of written french and sometimes a couple of german words…

My personal thoughts – an athlete who was once at the top and has slid a little is most likely to turn to performance enhancers to try to get back to the top.
I bet she was clean in the past - and after baby just could not get back to the top - so turned to performance enhancers (EPO) to try and once again get to the top.

I have to agree with Francois. The Olympics she got the gold at was 5 years ago and her doping charge is current. I’m still sad over it.
You know if this was Lance you guys would be saying he’s always been on drugs, and finally got caught…fire away!
The things people will do just to get into the Hottie thread.

How in the HELL did you go from a triathlete who has tested POSITIVE to Lance Armstrong???
This is a Thread about Bridg McMann – Not Lance!!
AND I have never ever said anything about Lance Armstrong – so Shove that up your ass and stay on topic.
I really didn’t think my post deserved such an abrasive reply. My point was how forgiving we are with some athletes, yet how quickly we are to criticize others; myself included.
If a favorite athlete of mine (say, Lance Armstrong) tested positive, I would be the first to defend him. On the other hand, when others test positive that I am not as familiar with, I am more inclined to doubt their innocence.
Shove it up my ass? Come on man and try posting a less abrasive response next time.
she admitted taking EPO before the B sample is analyzed during the press conf. that was held…
Hasn’t she had two children since the 2000 olympics?
LOL, thats the best post today!
Yes, she has 2 little kids…her husband Mike coaches her and other athletes as well. He is the Endurance Coach for a sports conditioning center called Altheus, in Rye, NY. I bet this will KILL his coaching business. Altheus is also a sponsor of the Westchester Triathlon.
Mike is no longer her coach, and I don’t believe he is even her husband any more.
And his coaching business will continue to do just fine. He overcharges rich, suburbanite clients (coaching is at least 1,000USD per month). His reputation in the area is terrible. His clients are regularly injured (just like Brigitte was when she was with him), and I’ve never heard anyone say anything positive about him. But he still does just fine for himself.
Don’t hold back, tell us how you really feel about Mike— but first, are you from that area and were you one of the people that paid $1000 per month to be told what to do? I am not necessarily disagreeing with your analysis/opinion, but I want to have a better understanding of how you came to that conclusion/belief.
