Anyone seen this commercial? I series of Mazdas drive past a Bike shop, a narrator is talking about the latest aerodynamics, and so on. It then flashes to inside the bike shop, the salesman is showing a guy a LG Rocket helmet. Next scene is this guy and 3 friends riding down the road on road bikes, sans aerobars, all wearing LG Rockets. I’ve seen a lot of roadies wearing aero helmets for group rides, how about you guys?
Not sure if you missed the last part…I believe that spot ends with the guy in his car, and the dog hanging his head out the window…wearing the Rocket helmet.
I definitely missed that. That makes the commercial a bit more clever.
I was thinking the same thing, not many roadies wear aero helmets. The doggie was looking pretty darn aero in the back seat.

what you guys don’t? I wear my aero helmet even for running now, makes the miles fly by and I’ve made a lot of new friends. They all seem to have knicknames for me though. “wacked out spaceball guy” “helmet head” “sperm with legs” I just take it as a compliment and I’m sure it’s all because of my helmet. I’m going to start wearing one while walking around soon too…
