Does anybody know were I can get hold of, or have, a copy of the instructions for the Mavic Mektronic gear system. I picked a set up off a demo bike but there were no setup instructions to go with it. Mavic and their disributors are being less than helpful. Happy to pay for a photocopy!

There is a guy out in Ithaca NY, Glen Swan, who is the National Masters TT Champ, and knows bikes (hell, the dude went to Cornell and majored in engineering). He also uses the Mektronic according to my friend, who has two frames by the guy. Even if he doesn’t use it still, he would know.

If it doesn’t work, do a google search for Finger Lakes Cycling Club, and he’s plastered all over the web-pages.

ALSO- FWIW, if anyone ever needs a good place to take a cycling vacation, this area has it all- not too much traffic, lots of hills/small mountains, lakeside campgrounds, etc etc. I did a couple tours in the area, and if you have someone who is willing to do the SAG vehicle, you can piece together a great training week!
