Mavic MA3/ CH Aero cover

OK–I chickened out on building a DIY disc wheel for now.

CH Aero wheel cover is on the way. Thinking of using a MA3 rim for the wheel, bt it is not completely box shaped–How big of a deal is this in getting the wheel as slick as possible?

There are some wheels going cheap with off brand rims (Alex DR13, Sun) that look fairly box shaped.

People have used the cover sucessfully with an Open Pro rim, which isn’t a box rim either. I think it should work, but like you I’m still in the planning stages.

I did a Uni cover over a MA3 rim about 100 years ago. Guess what? It worked.
