Mavic Ksyrium wheels: dumb question

I’m working on my rear Ksyrium wheel. The cassette (9 speed DA) is loose and rattles on the freehub (when everything is tightened down with the lockring). There is one silver spacer on the freehub currently, behind the cassette.

What’s my fix? A second spacer? A wider spacer replacing the existing spacer?

Am I missing something obvious?

You may need either a 3 mm or a 3.3 mm spacer. The spacer you have may be appropriate for 10 speed, not 9 speed.
