need a new set of training wheels. gonna buy a set of 2004 mavic ksyrium elites (clincher) for $450 over on biketiresdirect.com because i like the price and have been happy with the 2003 pair i have on my road bike. unless anyone here has a better idea???
Go with the ksyrium elites, I think they are a great training wheel. I own a set on both of my bikes. They are very strong, with no problems…
great wheels, I have a set on my road bike and love them. Not sure if they do mail order but the Trek store in San Diego has them on sale for $399.
Ditto to others here… great wheels - use them for training on my P3! I also have the cheaper Cosmos wheels on my Trek road bike, very good for as training wheels, maybe they are even better choice as Elites are the “poor man’s” racing wheels.
You’ll save $25 on totalcycling.com, although it might even out once you include shipping. . .
I’ve had the Elites for 3 years, only had to true them once. And they look great with my matte black C’dale, too.
Just remember flat spokes suck in cross winds. I would chose a more aerodynamic rim with round spokes.
