it seems Inigo San Milan, a well respected researcher and highly knowledgeable in regard to lactic acid metabolism (as a central area of his research) is not at all convinced that bicarbonate is effective. per a recent thread on twitter. I don’t use Twitter much any longer but you can look it up if you are interested. Key point is blood pH buffering around 7.35- 7.45… I am with Inigo, I really have a problem believing that it works at the cellular level if at all not for any time span.
