I got a call today from my friend Dennis at Quality Bicycle Parts, a major wholesale parts distributor to bicycle stores.
Dennis said, effective May1, there is an across the board 25% increase in prices for Park Tools, Graber products (car racks, etc.) and Saris rack systems.
If you are considering a Saris roof rack, graber bones rack or some Park Tools like a work stand, buy it from your LBS on favorite online retailer this weekend before you get hit by the price increase.

whew, just bought a Park Stand and not a moment too soon. By the way, Colorado Cyclist rocks! Orderd and recieved within three days.

Why am I not surprised that the price increase is announced right when the Dollar begins a rebound and bonds plummet?
