MASI Road Bikes?

Anyone have any experience withe these? Relatively new bike shop in the area is a dealer for them and is making what seem to be killer deals.

The name was purchased by Haro a couple of years ago. I’m sure they are ok bikes. I don’t think they have that “Itallian mystique” they once had.

They used to be handmade Italian bikes–back in the '70s. They are now made in Taiwan. Still probably good bikes, but not what they were.

I use to carry Masi(The Haro knock-off)… A few of the original versions came back with broken chain-stays. They have since re-designed the stays and I haven’t seen one come back cracked…

Masi, Cinelli, Colnago, Derosa were the bikes built by gods in the 60’s and early 70’s. They moved their plant to Cali in the 70’s . Some of the finest builders in America went thru their doors.

They are now a hollow shell of a company that they once were. But as a mass produced offshore frame they probably aren’t too bad if they are straight.
