The “Happily Married Thread” is a short one, brother.
I honestly didn’t think it’d go too far.
My feeble attempt at humor. (sigh)

Well my pic didn’t post. Maybe because I’m on a mac. It’s me and my wife at a beach party in Jamaica. It’s tri related since I’m wearing a shirt from a race. Anyways, married, two kids, 38 years old.
23 years and growing!!
.
30+ years married and it only gets better. No pictures, please.
25 years this coming June. Mrs. Last tri is a budding AG’r at 45.
8 yrs with #2. And…even phoned my ex tonight to wish her happy birthday.
Well, most of us know what Joe looks like. He’s that bearded blur out on the race course. Saw him three times in the race (IMFL); passed me on the bike about 15 miles along. Twice on the run right behind Bella. I cheered him on, but he looked like he was in the zone. Oh, and introduced myself to Joe, friday morning before he took a swim. Talked about a friend of mine who also went to Worlds - Russ Jones. Anyways, congrats to Joe.
Got to have pictures. :o)

I think I have a good one of the two of you in Kona.

Well, as stated in my Florida RR, I am recently engaged, so can I play too? We’ve been together for 5.5 years and friends for many before that. I’m 28, she’s 27. I’m an IM addict, and at every race, Stephanie says something along the lines of, “You know, one day I may just be crazy enough…” Damn I love her.

Michelle and I have been married for three and a half great years and I feel like the luckiest man alive. Here we are at the SF Bridge School 10K in Golden Gate Park in October.
No age limit on being a geezer, it’s a cockney phrase for a wide boy usually a young 'un.
OK, here you go…I’m 45 with a beautiful happy family!!

sorry the picture is so big! how do I change that? Did it come up?

The picture’s great, David. What a great shot to capture the thrill of the Ironman with your family.
As for me, I’ve been married to Mrs. justsometriguy for 2 1/2 years. We’re younguns. Before we were married, we would joke while looking at people, “They’re not as in love as us.” Now, I just look around and it makes me really happy to see as many people who are truly in love. It makes the triathlon experience that much better. My wife’s probably not going to be a triathlete. She loves to swim and she just ran her first marathon, but hates the bike. It’s just as well. I love rooting her on for running races and I love having her there for my races.
