Marathon Taper. What should i do about cycle volume?

I am 10 days out from a stand alone marathon. I begin my taper in two days, but am curious about my cycling volume leading up to the race?? I have a 100km plus ride for planned for this w/e, but think i should flag it and rest up for the marathon. My focus is definitely the run at the moment, but want to know when i should put the bike on hold from?? - Cheers.

I would cut the ride short and make sure it is really easy. Taper is very individual, and depends on your personal characteristics, as well as your training (volume and type of training you do). If 100km is comfortanble for you, then maybe just do 60-70km. I think for a marathon, the main thing is not to do too much running 10 days out, so the legs are not too tired from imact. If you rest too much you can get a little lethargic as well.
