Manufacturers Want A Voice with the UCI

Interesting Article at Velonews. But even more interesting is that Trek is not listed in this group. Why wouldn’t want to have a voice with such a successful group?

Because the entanglement of vendors and the rules committees is working out so well right now for FINA.

What caught my eye is Quarq (misspelled as “Quark”) is on there, but there’s no SRM, Saris, or Polar…

Due to their sponsorship of the Cervelo Test Team, perhaps? The UCI has practically ignored powermeters, so I can’t see any other reason why a powermeter manufacturers would bother to get involved, at least at this stage.
