I’m interested to hear about success and/or failure making infinit into a gel or a very concentrated dosage. I’d like to bring it with me on the run and supplement with water only. Ideally I’d have enough nutrition in one gel flask that I can just carry during the run, I’m not a big fan of fuel belts, etc.
Jon, you can get close to 350 CHO in a single gel flask. You can either squirt in in a cup of water (if that is available) or just in your mouth and wash it down with water. I would also make it a little thin so you can easily squeeze it out.
If you go to our discussion forum there are a number of threads about how to mx in concentrate. Reminds me, I have to go there and answer some questions. Have not been there in a while.
I use it in concentrate all the time. It never really turns into a gel. I just take a swig and chase it with water. It probably helps that I keep the flavor on my mix way low.
I easily get 5+scoops run mix in a Hammer gel flask and 4 scoops of bike mix in a Gu flask. Granted the scoops vary, but that’s >600 Cal. I haven’t tried to max it out. My run mix is only ~250 cal per 2 scoops.
