Making custom cassettes?

So can I cobble together two dura ace 10 speed cassettes to come up with an 11-27 (for hilly courses)? I could buy a SRAM 11-26 but they are heavier and I already have an 11-23 and 12-27.

Thats what i ride i just switched the 12 for an 11. Works great.

Yes. Here’s what you do.

Take the 21-24-27 cluster from the 12-27 and combine it with the 17-19 cluster off the 11-23 as well as the…

…lock ring, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16 from the 11-23… use spacers appropriately. :slight_smile: Best of luck!
