Jerry MacNeil has been a prominent triathlon announcer for years, calling more than 1200 tris / dus since 1982. In the Minnesota region, where he has been based for many years, he has helped keep the sport going by his informative and witty calls at the finish line. He has now turned his talent towards fiction writing.
It has been a dream of him to write novels, and his first book was published recently. It’s called “Rules of Thumb” and reviews have been glowing. Kirkus bills itself as the “world’s toughest book reviewers,” and recommend only about 8-10% of the books they review.“Rules…” has made that prestigious list. The book is currently available in print and ebook format on Amazon.com and BN.com (Barnes & Noble). I also encourage you to check out Jerry’s website: jerrymacneil.com.
