I got the original blue lens googles and they did not leak. When the clear googles came out I got a pair because I strongly preferred the clear lenses. The new goggles have a different gasket, but they fit the same. The new goggles don’t leak and are just as comfortable as the older ones.
My only frustration is that the anti-fog wears out the same as every other brand of goggles. If someone could invent anti-fog coating that doesn’t wear out …
Arena Cobra goggles have antifog that is meant to not wear out. The ‘swype’ technology actually works.
It still does wear out, but it takes wayyyyy longer, and even my most-worn out Arena Cobra fogs at about 1/4th the rate of a lightly used Speedo Vanquisher. It never reaches a point where it’s fogging quickly.
They are pricey, at about $55 per pair, but they do last over 2x as long as my Vanquishers if considering the antifog effect, so not even more expensive if you’re replacing the vanquishers due to fogging.
