Hey there. I have a couple of newb questions for the Maffetone gurus.
I’m wondering for those of you who use the Maffetone/Allen/Kearns, etc. method, when you do your MAF testing, do you test SBR all in the same week? Also, I don’t have a computrainer and I live in Colorado so no flats, so I did my bike test today as an 30 min TT on a rolling/generally uphill course which has no lights and I can easily duplicate. I used the Maffetone HR range and recorded my power and figure I would be able to see improvement in my power numbers over time on the same course regardless of weather, etc. Also, on the swim, I was planning on doing a 1000m TT at a tempo type HR perceived effort and go from there. Any thoughts?
