Has anyone used the MadFiber race wheels yet? Do you know of anyone who uses them?
Here is some comic gold about the MadFiber
OMG not this thread again!
I better get another cup of coffee. Looks like some deep and detailed reading ![]()
Thanks!
Thank you, thank you, thank you for linking that previous thread. Somehow I missed that prior “discussion” (it was a busy spring, not much ST exposure). That post encapsulates the dark side of ST better than anything I have read on here in a long time. Laughed my ass off.
My apologies to the OP, I have nothing to add to the discussion of MF wheels. But perhaps in bumping this thread back up I will contribute to you getting the responses you are looking for. Best of luck.

there is a local guy in austin who has been riding on them. so far so good as far as durability.
Looks like you do (from your profile). Twain also has a pair.
I talked to a local rider who had them. Said they were a little squishy compared to a “normal” wheel, though he didn’t elaborate on normal. He still seemed to love them though.
The guy who owns the LBS down the street has some. He used them for a TT and said there are “better options” out there. He used them on his road bike and said they are “great for everyday rides and really long rides”.
Now they’re up for sale on a super light build.
So there’s a one man, second hand critique.
I want a set but have been holding out for the clincher version. According to MF, they will release them at Interbike in a few weeks. I saw a guy in Vegas riding a set a few months ago and he claimed to love them.
What I like about them:
No weight limit ( I race at 225-235 lbs)
4 year warranty
never require truing
Light like a boss!
I expect to have them on my road bike next year when it’s warm enough to ride without winter gear.
