I went to post this morning and noticed a new interface in Firefox. As a Mac user, it looks like we’ll FINALLY be able to post photos!!! Thanks Dan! Here’s my first from IMF! http://i13.tinypic.com/2hehr3q.jpg

Does anyone use Safari? What about posting photos and URLs?

Lauren

Yup…even Steve Jobs and his friend are happy for us!

Lauren - It doesn’t work with Safari…just use firefox instead, as it’s general better anyways!

I’m a big fan of Safari, and use it everyday for browsing. It does not, however, give you all the features on the “new” slowtwitch that you get with Firefox.

What is this firefox thing?

Lauren i do use safari

A much more universal and fuller featured browser as it’s available for PCs and Macs and updates come out for both at the same time…

Get firefox here

Its another browser, It was an early adopter to tabbed browsing, and is IE’s biggest competitor. It forced Microsoft to include tabbed browsing in IE7 cause of the exodus. FF 2.0 now includes a spell checker, that works in any window you enter text it is really cool.

If you have never experienced Tabbed browsing download Firefox and give it a try it is awesome. There are still a few not many but a few sites that don’t run correctly. Slowtwitch is now off that list. YAAAAAH!

While I have a slight preference for Safari, Firefox is great. Try it out and tell your friends about it - especially the ones that are still using that user-hostile security sieve known as Internet Explorer.

Just testing the FF features:

Yes!

bryce: you have to host the picture somewhere other than your c: drive. Most people here use tinypic.com or a similar site. You upload your picture and then it spits back a url for you to use.

I wasn’t hosting it on my drive. I was trying to use the copy/paste function the way you can in IE. Unfortunately, that won’t work in FF, but at least you can copy the location and use that.

Yay. No more IE Tab extension necessary.

Sweet!! I no longer have a reason to open IE again.

Testing, Ahhhh…

.

Yeah! But can you make it not do tabs? I don’t like tabs.

Yes, you can turn off tabs in the Preferences.
