Mac users - anyone using iSMARTtrain? Any comments? What cable are you using to convert the Polar IR-Serial Interface to USB?

My wife uses a Keysapn usb/serial converter with iSmartTrain on the Mac
.

I’m assuming she is OK with both the hardware and the software and it work OK for her? Seems like the only option for Mac users…

i just battled to get my SRM to work on my MBP and attempted to get my polar to work. thanks for posting this. I am going to check it out since the polar won’t mount in parallels. it says that its in use by OSX.

Yes - it all works for her and she’s happy wih the software.

I just downloaded the demo as I have been looking for something for the Mac. In the window to download data from the watches, it did not have a feature to connect to the 625? Even though the webpage lists several watches, the demo seemed to only be set up for two.

I think I saw on their web page that it does work with a 625…let me know how you come out…

Their website did list most of the polar watches, including the 625. That is why I was surprised that in the software demo the 625 was not in the pull down window to that you needed to click to download data from a watch?
