back in lynchburg and trying to get in some swim training early mornings 530am ish - checked the jamerson schedule and doesn’t seem to have lanes available consistently at that time - any leads/advice? Thanks!
I didn’t say anything about liberalism, conservatism, or christianity, so I think you projecting like that betrays your bitterness/taintedness. As you’re bring judgmental, take offense to imagined insults, and as I suspect you’re a conservative christian from your post, maybe you should go to church more so you can learn to be less judgmental of others. (Matthew 7:1?)
You are what we call in Virginia, a “complete asshat.” Also, your English is incorrect in the quotation above. Who knows, perhaps red-neck truck drivers have some sort of sixth sense; are you getting what you deserve? Perhaps YOU need to visit Buddha, a Temple, Shinto shrine, etc.?
I’d call them and see what’s up. I used to swim after I got off night shifts and early mornings and they usually have lanes open. Haven’t lived there in over a year now so not sure why/if things changed.
You can also check out the Natatorium schedule at Liberty. Say what you want about the school but that pool is NICE. I believe they have day passes? You’d have to see how early the swim team and Tri teams practice though. I have friends on the Tri team and they’re practicing at Lahaye for the first part of the semester, I know that pool is open at the butt crack of dawn if you feel so inclined to check there.
great tips, thanks!

I forgot about the Downtown Y. They have a 25 meter lap pool, and it’s usually open pretty early as well! It’s on Church Street.
embraces its historical aspects but balances it well. Here’s what I think of when I hear Lynchburg, history and swimming pools.
End of Summer: When Lynchburg closed its pools
I know, this was almost six decades ago.
