I happened to notice that Luke Bell opted for the 595 with aero bars rather than their TT frame. I thought this was particularly intersting given the fact that the Vineman course is so fast and screams for a TT bike rather than a road frame. Dunno, just struck me as odd. Any insight as to his choice?

In Florida 70.3, he also rode a Look 595.
The only time I remember seeing Bell ride his old Giant TT was when he DNF’d at Kona. Otherwise, he always rode a road bike (sometimes with bullhorn front end, others with drop bars/aerobars).
Sounds normal to me.
