Lucky man -

So this guy is in Hiroshima on a business trip. As he is getting off a train 2 miles from ground zero right when the Bomb goes off. He survives, spends the night in a bomb shelter then goes home the next day - to Nagasaki. Two days later he’s in his boss’s office telling the story and explaining why he was late getting back from the trip when - oh shit not again . . .

Then to top it off after being in TWO atomic explosions, he lives to be 93.

When things are too incredible to be true you have to reassess. The bombs were never dropped. He set them off!

Or unlucky man?

It occurs to me, many days after reading the article, that perhaps we never really wanted to bomb Hiroshima or Nagasaki. Perhaps the US just really, really wanted to kill this one guy? Some may say two atom bombs is a little excessive. I would argue the fact that he survived proves they were not enough.
Also, anyone else amazed by the fact that trains were running in Hiroshima the next day?
