here you go boys…first is the set up…DA9sp + rotorcranks 55-42 and 11-21. Sorry lots of light out there today and the frame reflects a lot of it (and my dig. cam. is crap).
second is a close up on the chain stays and the internal routing
third is a close up behind the chain ring with a look at how the internal routing is done…really neat…
close up on the seat post and the superb clamp:
near the head tube
and a special for fbrissette…the front end and the headcone
it rides really well. I don’t have a lot of room for large bottles on the frame (they fit though) as this is a small size 700.
It’s a frame that even midgets like me can ride in 700, and yet be aero as the headtube is really short. I will likely get rid of the adjustable stem and get a normal one and get rid of the spacer on it to get in the same postion. The frame is very light for a TT bike (didn’t weight it as I don’t really care though). I pushed the pace only about 15’ and it rode really nicely, good TT position, pretty comfie, ‘fell’ in my TT position very easily.
Definitely a bike to consider. Stiff, aero and light.
VERY nice indeed. Thanks esp for the close up pics of the cable routing, etc. One question though - what happens when a meathead (like me) overtightens the seatpost binder bolt and strips the threads?
It’s nice to see that there’s a handy place for me to attach a bungie cord, too.
A stupid question: What is the deal with Rotorcranks? I’ve seen posts referencing them, but was never intersted enough to read them (and now I’m too lazy to search). The Clif Notes explanation would be fine.
drooling on my laptop…mmm…dude…go with cat cages (on ebay last I saw)…you can convert them to be side loading for waterbottles of unusualy size…have one going each direction for that double fisted approach. Seriously sweet machine…now…about those Softrides you own…
jeah, hopefully I will be back in that shape or better . Right now I am not as fast though. I am doing my thing but kinda slow. I’m coming to the states in begin of feb to adjust to the time dif. 1 week for every hour
