Saw a old thread on this but wondering what others thought or if anyone has any new info on this. Looks like it could be a great tool to further dial in specific hr zones.

What kind of new info do you want? Their kickstarter was way over-funded, so I would assume they are in production now. Unless it’s one of those kickstarters that just takes the money and runs, but I doubt it. Sometimes these start-ups can’t scale up production based on the demand so it may be a while before they’re in the hands of customers, that that’s just me guessing.

They don’t give much info on how it works except that it looks like near-infrared spectroscopy which measures the relative amounts of deoxy-hemoglobin and oxy-hemoglobin to determine lactate threshold. Not as good as testing your blood for lactate, but it seems to be the next-best-thing these days, and they seem to have made it portable. They might lose some sensitivity or resolution because of that.

did you see the new thread?

Just saw that Dan, thanks. Still early on the east coast. I’ll wake up.

it’s not early on the east coast. it’s early on the WEST coast
