In their normal configuration the pads on the Profile Cobra T2+ are fairly high.
I came up with a quick way to lower them, that after a few rides has had no ill effects.
- Reverse the mounting hardware so the extensions protrude from below the base bar.
- Pick up 4x 40ish mm M6 (Double check this size, I’m going off memory.) bolts. Preferably a flat head. (the closest I found was a button head)
- Pick up 4x 1" nylon spacers
- Use spacers to raise pads high enough to clear base bar.
- Enjoy your lower front end.
The button head bolts are mildly irritating. At some point I’ll continue the search for a flatter head.
