Louis TT8.8 Carbon

Anyone out there ride one? Was looking at one today, seems like a nice ride.

I have one and its a nice ride.
Its the same frame as the Ridley Cadel Evans rode in the tour two years ago (he won a TT stage on it).
I have beaten many of the P3 hoard on this rig!

I noticed it had alot of the same aero features of a P3. I think I might have to have a second look at this. The stock wheelset is much superior to the p2 …hmmm.

I’ve ridden the same frame under a different label and with a different fork. I think it’s pretty common knowledge that it’s made by XDS and labeled by several different companies. As already mentioned, Cadel Evans rode the same frame labeled as a Ridley in the TdF. I represent one of the companies that sold the same frame in 2006-07. It’s fairly stiff, light, reasonably aero, and potentially a good value depending on the price. It lacks aero cable routing and we had a couple of issues with the seatposts and clamps, but overall it’s a good frame. FWIW, it can be found at a much lower price than the Louis Garneau retail price.

The previous poster kept an arms length distance since he’s potentially in the bike biz or similar.

Planet X and Stevens are 2 other companies that sell the same XDC frame:

Planet X in the UK seems very popular:

If you’re in the US, it’s less expensive here:
